Abdominal Assessment (APA)
Abdominal Assessment utilizes the "look, listen and feel" approach via the 4 quadrant grid. This module also compares and differentiates normal bowel sounds, paralytic ileus, and the ramifications of absent bowel sounds. Basics of Hemodynamic Monitoring (AAPA)

An explanation of osmolality and the differences between hypotonic, isotonic, and hypertonic solutions are offered. Volume status assessment and a quick look fluid replacement chart is also provided. This course has the goal of facilitating knowledge and confidence in understanding IV fluids.
